SAM HENWOOD

DIRECTOR

Sam heads the team. He is not only the managing director of the company but loves nothing more than being actively involved in every aspect of producing the final product, whether that be forming rivets on the rivet gun in the boiler shop or machining and fitting on the mechanical side.

BEN HENWOOD

MACHINIST / FITTER

Ben is in his third year at college serving an apprenticeship primarily as a machinist. However, he’s often called upon to assist in the boiler-shop learning a wider range of techniques and skills. Ben is no stranger to working at Henwood Engineering after assisting from a young age in school holidays and weekends under the watchful eye of his Grandfather Alan.

AMY GOODWIN

TRADITIONAL SIGNWRITING & LINING

As part of the ‘Finishing team’ Amy has gained much experience in the last few years as a free hand signwriter and liner. With a Masters in Authorial Illustration specialising in signwriting Amy now is studying a PhD in re-establishing fairground females. 

Barney H

APPRENTICE

A keen interest in all things mechanical, Barney spends a lot of time in the boiler shop marking out, drilling and riveting platework. His apprenticeship - like Ben’s - will also cover machining and fitting.
